BrackKloof is situated 18km from the city of Grahamstown and is easily accessible.
Our rustic but comfortable self catering guest house consists of a 3 bedroomed cottage, and 2 hunters rooms that are serviced daily.
Take a walk in the veld and discover all the small creatures living on the beautiful hills including Kudu,Steenbuck, Duiker, Warthog and many more, or take part in the many activities we have to offer.
Come and relax with the beautiful sounds of the native Eastern Cape bird life and the wind blowing through the leaves of the local trees.

Our rustic but comfortable guest house consists of the main farm cottage, and two outside rooms.
The main cottage can accommodate 6 people in 3 rooms with separate bathroom and toilet facilities. Spacious lounge, dining room and kitchen. The unit can be rented out as a whole or separately with communal ablutions. The main hunters room can accommodate 2 people with a on suite bathroom.
The other hunters room can accommodate 4 people with a bunk and on suite bathroom while the outside rooms have a lovely and cosy indoor braai area available to them.
DSTV can be arranged on request at an additional fee.
Rooms are serviced daily
Tea and coffee is available free of charge.
Horse Riding
Horse rides are available to experienced horse riders only. We offer horse trails from 1km to 10km.
Bird watching
Brack kloof Farm has a wide variety of bird live that will intrigue any bird watcher.
From your common veld birds to water fowl.
Fishing
Bass fishing is available in our big dam in the centre of the farm.
Please bring along own equipment.
Trail Walks
We have 2 walks available depending your fitness level. This is a great way to get close to nature and to experience all the wonderfull things the farm has to offer. Spot animals on foot and maybe come across some bird nests
Bike Trails
Trails are available with prior arrangements. Please bring along your own off road motor bike or mountain bike to take advantage of this great offer
Game Viewing
You can go on a drive through the farm and spot some of the wonderful animals we have.
Sheep Shearing
Once a year all the Merino sheep gets sawn to harvest the wool they carry. This normally happens in the October and November months. The wool is then sold to be processed into all kinds of items including clothing and carpets. For more information please email us
Goat Shearing
Our angora goats are shawn twice a year to harvest the mohair they carry. The mohair then gets sold to be processed into all kinds of items including clothing. Shearing normally happens during February and September every year. For more information please email us
Cow Milking
We have 3 milking cows that are hand milked every morning. Should you like to take part in this activity please let us know
Hunting
We offer a wide range of animals every year, like kudu, Impala, duiker, steenbuck, warthog, mountain reedbuck, and a few others. Please email us for more information regarding this wonderful experience.
Please note that we only book out a limited amount of weekends every year.

Camping
Camping areas can be arranged close to the homestead or deep into the farm close to the river or dam.
From Grahamstown:
Take the R350 towards Bedford.
You will pass the Grahamstown Air Field on your right and the Grahamstown Riding club on your left. Follow this road for approximately 17to 18 kilometres.
You will pass a dirt road turnoff on your left with a board marked for Hilton Farm and Table Farm. - keep going.
Pass the Kwandwe turnoff on your right (R344)
Brack Kloof Farm turnoff is 2km after that on your left.
Go over a cattle grid and follow the road down to the homestead.
